If your vehicle has been impounded, you are required to pay the tow company bill, PLUS the fees to the City of New Port Richey.
City Fees
The city charges include:
- $40.00 administration fee
- $20.00 per day storage fee
Storage fees accrue from the day of impound and every day thereafter, including weekends.
Payment
Payments for release of the vehicle must be made by either a money order or certified bank check made out to the “City of New Port Richey”. Cash, personal or business checks, debit and credit cards are NOT accepted.
Retrieving Your Vehicle
Vehicles may be picked up Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Be sure to have proper documentation and state issued ID or passport with you. Vehicles can only be released to the registered/titled owner.
