Officers in the Patrol Division are assigned to a squad under the supervision of Sergeants and Corporals. A patrol squad will respond to urgent calls for service and emergencies any day of the year at all hours.

The Patrol Division includes the department's two K-9 officers, as well as auxiliary and part-time officers. The Division also has a part-time marine unit that patrols the Pithlachascotee River and assists the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Port Richey Police Department, and the U.S. Coast Guard with search and rescue operations. Some of the Division's officers are specially trained to perform bicycle patrols when needed.
