Emergency Preparedness

Due to potentially heavy rains associated with Potential Tropical Cyclone One, the City of New Port Richey has opened sandbag operations today and will remain open through the weekend for city residents. Sandbags only are available at the following locations:
Public Works Operations Center, 6132 Pine Hill Rd. from 7:30AM-4PM
Fire Station No. 1, 6333 Madison St. from 8AM-8PM
Fire Station No. 2, 6123 High St. from 8AM-8PM
Sand for the sandbags is available at our Fleet Maintenance Warehouse located at 6420 Pine Hill Rd. from 7:30AM-3:30PM.
Residents must show proof of city residency and bring their own shovel, as this is a self-service station.

The 2022 Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday starts on May 28th and runs until June 10th.
