The City of New Port Richey is pleased to announce the commencement of the Sims Park Playground Surface Replacement Project, beginning on February 21, 2024. As part of this project, the Sims Park Playground, splash pad and adjacent shelters will be closed for all use. The resurfacing project is expected to take one week to complete. Once the resurfacing is complete, the playground, splash pad, and shelters will reopen immediately for public use. The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks you for your cooperation during this important improvement project.
