The City of New Port Richey will conduct a public meeting regarding the 2024 Stormwater Utility System Master Plan Update on March 26, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 5919 Main Street, New Port Richey. The purpose of the meeting is to solicit input from residents on stormwater related concerns such as street flooding, neighborhood flooding, stormwater treatment prior to river discharge, and any other related stormwater topics that may be of importance. The Mayor and members of City Council may also be in attendance.
The 2024 City New Port Richey Stormwater Utility System Master Plan update will re-examine the City’s stormwater system by identifying and analyzing the existing drainage information collected over the past 10 years, as well as information collected during the update process. Proposed projects to be in the plan will be categorized as known flooding areas, water quality treatment areas, repetitive loss areas, and finally projects that have not been completed in the City’s previous Stormwater Master Plan.
