Full-time, non-exempt position. Annual salary range $46,446 to $64,043 depending on qualifications and experience.  The City of New Port Richey is looking for a new team member to be a part of the Development Department.  It’s not just a place to work, it’s a place to make some friends and create a positive impact on everyone who comes through our doors. You will feel pride in your work as you face new challenges.  If you enjoy a fast pace, professional and fun work environment, this may be the job for you.  This is a professional- level planning position that includes reviewing site plans and building permits for zoning compliance, responding to telephone and walk-in customers, as well as other special projects.  It requires exceptional customer service skills to promote the City as a customer-friendly environment. The position also requires analytical thinking and problem-solving, team-oriented participation, excellent written skills and public presentation skills, public relations, and interpersonal/verbal communication skills.
