Utility Crews are repairing an unexpected water main break off Avery Rd east of US Hwy 19 in the North River Neighborhood. Possible roads effected Green St, Astor Dr, Jasmin Dr, Foley Square, Luna Vista, Burns Point, and surrounding areas. Water pressure might be low or no pressure at all while crews are repairing the line. Please try to avoid the area as there will be delays and detours in place.

The City of New Port Richey encourages residents as well as Water and Sewer Customers that live outside the City’s Corporate Limits to start utilizing this latest technology. The New Port Richey Public Works Department issues Nixle to notify residents and the surrounding communities of road closures, detours and construction projects that can affect residents and drivers traveling throughout the City. The Water Utility and Sewer Utility Departments use Nixle to notify residents & utility customers of emergency and scheduled water and sewer “shut-downs” for repair work and for precautionary boil water notices. Other notification that may be used by the Public Works Department are Reclaimed Water “shut downs” or repairs, Stormwater Flooding notifications, along with an Southwest Florida Water Management District Lawn Watering restrictions that have been updated.
