City Hosts Successful 2025 Neighborhood Spring Clean-Up Day

The City of New Port Richey proudly hosted the 2025 Neighborhood Spring Clean-Up Day on Saturday, May 17, 2025. The event was a tremendous success, providing residents with a convenient opportunity to dispose of unwanted items at two designated drop-off locations: Frances Avenue Park and the Old River Road Church property.

Throughout the day, eight (8) 30-yard dumpsters—provided by JD Parker—were filled with household waste and debris, totaling an impressive 22.15 tons of materials collected.

City staff were on hand to engage with participants and distributed indoor and outdoor water conservation kits, along with stormwater outreach materials to promote environmentally responsible practices.

The City extends its thanks to all participating residents, staff, and partners for making this event a success and for helping keep our community clean and environmentally responsible.

 

The City of New Port Richey hosts a bi-annual neighborhood clean-up event in the fall and again during late spring of each year.  This event allows residents of the City of New Port Richey to dispose of unwanted items in dumpsters rented by the City. Residents can take their unwanted items to either one of the two locations and properly dispose of those items.

Dumpster Locations

  • Frances Avenue Park off of Louisiana Ave.
  • The former old River Road Church located at south 6131 River Road.
    • Paper Shredding available at River Road Location only.
      • Please limit paper shredding to 4 paper boxes per household.
    • Nonworking, undamaged TVs, Computer Monitors/Towers accepted at River Road location only.
    • Paint & household chemicals accepted at River Road location only.
