Community Development
2050 Comprehensive Plan
The City of New Port Richey is currently in the process of updating its Comprehensive Plan to guide community growth and development for the next 20 years. The Comprehensive Plan is an official document adopted by the City Council and is comprised of 11 Elements, each addressing a different aspect of the community through a set of Goals, Objectives, and Policies. The comprehensive planning process requires coordination across city departments and community members to evaluate existing conditions, establish a vision for the future, and develop the Goals, Objectives, and Policies for effective decision making.
