Building Official

The City of New Port Richey, FL is seeking a fulltime Building Official for our Planning & Development Department.

The Child Watch attendant is responsible for the implementation and facilitation of short-term child care service for children ages 6 months - 8 years of age. Attendants will help implement a variety of activities which may include; sports, active games, arts and crafts, and various recreational, educational, or cultural enrichment programming.

Cultural Programs Coordinator

This is a full-time position responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating a wide variety of cultural and special events throughout the City. Develops guidelines, evaluates event requirements, creates comprehensive cost projections, coordinates security requirements, and provides complete event management, permitting and registration services.

Development Clerk

Under general supervision, responsible for receiving the public, greeting customers and answering the main switchboard telephone system. Position requires knowledge of departmental operations and is characterized by varied duties which may involve different and unrelated processes and methods requiring varied knowledge and abilities and/or a broad range of skills.

Firefighter EMT/Paramedic - Full Time

Full-Time professional firefighter whose general responsibilities include but are not limited to; fire suppression, rescue, medical care – BLS and ALS procedures per medical protocols, protection of life and property, fire prevention initiatives, community risk reduction, disaster preparedness and response, and the maintenance of equipment, apparatus, and facilities.

Fleet Technician

Responsible for performing highly skilled mechanical repairs and routine maintenance of City vehicles and equipment. Performs computerized diagnostics of City vehicles and equipment.

Grounds Maintenance Crew Leader

The Grounds Maintenance Crew Leader will be tasked with organizing, leading, and controlling park operations, to include maintenance of parks and recreation facilities, grounds, and buildings within a designated area by ensuring building, electrical, plumbing, grounds, and equipment are in good repair, clean, safe, orderly, and compliant with applicable regulations.

Maintenance Worker I - Grounds Maintenance

This entry level position participates in the day to day operations of the Parks Division to include facility and grounds maintenance.

Maintenance Worker II

This entry level position participates in the day to day operations of the Public Works Department to include facility and grounds maintenance.

Patrol Officer

Provide law enforcement service inside the corporate limits of New Port Richey, Florida.

Patrol Officer - Part Time

This is a generalized public safety position and the work is in the prevention of crime, protection of life and property and apprehension of criminal offenders.

Recreation Leader I

Under direction, monitoring the daily front desk operations which include checking in members, processing payments for classes and registrations, selling memberships and registering patrons for classes.

Utilities Mechanic I

Semi-skilled work to varying degrees of skilled work in the installation, repair, and maintenance of water distribution, reclaimed water distribution and sewage collection systems. Employees in this class perform a wide variety of manual laboring tasks including the operation of construction equipment in connection with the construction and maintenance of the utility systems.

Utilities Mechanic II

Semi-skilled work to varying degrees of skilled work in the installation, repair, and maintenance of water distribution, reclaimed water distribution and sewage collection systems may also be required. Employees in this class perform a wide variety of manual laboring tasks including the operation of construction equipment in connection with the construction and maintenance of the utility systems.
