Code Enforcement

The four Code Enforcement Officers ensure compliance with City ordinances and zoning regulations, while providing for the overall health, safety, and quality of life issues in the community.
Some of the most common violations they handle include: trash and debris, illegal dumping, lawn maintenance, and junk vehicles.

Foreclosure Registration
Foreclosure Registration Form(PDF, 136KB) - Chapter 26 of the New Port Richey City Code outlines registration and maintenance guidelines for properties that have a Lis Pendens filed with Pasco County with the intent of property foreclosure. Any and all lenders, note holders, and/or mortgager must register with the City of New Port Richey each year.

Residential Permit Application
If you are a new owner and you would like to apply for a Residential Rental Permit, please complete the Residential Rental Permit Application(PDF, 895KB) .
Once you have an invoice number, you can make your payment online via the Citizen Access Portal https://nprcitizenaccess.org.

Neighborhood Improvement Community Enhancement Program
The enforcement of uncorrected code violations may lead to financial hardships for some residential homeowners due to repair costs, or imposed fines or liens authorized by law. The City of New Port Richey wishes to encourage and assist eligible homeowners in bringing their property with existing code violations into compliance with the city codes. This home improvement program to be known as the Neighborhood Improvement Community Enhancement (“NICE”) program to assist eligible homeowners in the City of New Port Richey.
