City Celebrates Public Service Recognition Week 2026

Public Works Crew Working with Hard Hats on

Celebrated each May since 1985, Public Service Recognition Week honors those who serve our communities at every level of government and the impact their work has on daily life.

The City of New Port Richey marked the week with staff appreciation events, kicking off with a breakfast and continuing throughout the week with surprise giveaways. 

The City of New Port Richey also honored city departments through daily social media posts on Facebook and Instagram highlighting different departments in unique ways.
