NEW PORT RICHEY, FLA. (Wed., Aug. 6, 2025) – Local businesses are the driving force behind New Port Richey’s continued growth. They help to offer a unique blend of things to do for visitors and residents alike. As one of Florida’s best walkable, waterfront, historic hometowns, we’re proud to celebrate the local business owners who make this city shine. This year, 20 New Port Richey businesses were honored as gold, silver, and bronze winners across several categories as part of the Tampa Bay Times Best of the Best People’s Choice Awards. The City of New Port Richey is celebrating this success with an awards ceremony at Sims Park on Monday, August 25th at 6:00 p.m. There is no cost to attend.
“In New Port Richey, we’ve seen firsthand how local businesses can transform a downtown and energize the community,” said Debbie L. Manns, City Manager. “I am so proud of the passion and commitment our local businesses bring to our city every day.”

The City of New Port Richey invites the community to a celebration of the best of the best businesses on Monday, August 25th at 6:00 p.m. at Sims Park, located at 5547 Main Street in Downtown New Port Richey. There will be a keynote address from Tampa Bay Times’ CEO & Chairman, Conan Gallaty, followed by an awards ceremony.
