Councilman Brian Jonas has called the City of New Port Richey home for almost 50 years. He grew up here, attending Richey Fundamental, Gulf Middle School, and Gulf High School, and is now raising his own family here with his wife, Irene. They have been married for 24 years, and they are the proud parents of four amazing daughters.

Jonas works as an Outside Sales Manager at For the Floor, where he gets to work closely with local homeowners and businesses - helping bring their visions to life. When he is not working, he can be found offshore fishing, biking through the neighborhood, or enjoying a good meal downtown. He is a proud foodie and a huge supporter of local restaurants and small businesses.

Jonas ran for City Council because he cares deeply about his community and wants to make sure it continues to grow in a smart, sustainable way. He believes in preserving the small-town charm while improving the infrastructure, supporting local entrepreneurs, and making sure families feel safe and welcome.

His goal is to listen, lead with integrity, and bring fresh energy and ideas to City Hall. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve and looks forward to working together to build an even better New Port Richey for everyone.
