New Port Richey Celebrates Florida City Week
Published on October 24, 2025
Held annually in October, Florida City Week is a weeklong event when Florida’s cities celebrate, showcase, and engage citizens in the work of municipal government. Florida City Week is a time for municipalities to foster civics education and collaboration. All cities are encouraged to participate, and the League helps celebrate what makes our cities great.
The City of New Port Richey participated by sharing one video per day on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, where we asked city staff members from several departments to share their answers to some interesting questions about our city. In case you missed it, watch the videos at the links below and relive the excitement of #FlCityWeek!
Day 1: Meet the Faces Who Help Run the City
Day 2: Events and How to Say "Pithlachascotee River"
Day 3: If New Port Richey had a Mascot, What Would it Be?
