Upcoming Gulf Drive Road Closure Due to Beach Street Drainage Improvem

As part of the Beach Street Drainage Improvement Project, a portion of Gulf Drive will be closed beginning on Monday, May 12, 2025. The road closure is necessary for the installation of manhole structures and stormwater piping and will be from Maple Street to Beach Street. The installation is expected to take approximately a week to complete. Every effort will be made to expedite the work. A detour will be in place to assist residents and visitors driving in the affected area. Any important information updates will be posted to the City’s website at www.cityofnewportrichey.org. The City is committed to minimizing disruptions and will take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of residents, businesses, and commuters.
