Upcoming Grand Blvd. Lane Closure (Sims Ln to Broadway Ave)

Beginning Wednesday, June 11, 2025, Grand Boulevard will be reduced to one lane of traffic between Sims Lane and Broadway Avenue as part of the 2023-2024 Street Improvement Project. Flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic while crews perform necessary roadway preparation in advance of paving operations. 

This temporary lane closure is expected to be in effect during daytime working hours through the end of the following week, weather permitting. There will be no impacts associated with project on Saturday's annual Rap River Run. 

Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible. Drivers traveling through the work zone are urged to proceed with caution and follow all instructions from onsite personnel and posted signage. 

This work is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to maintain and improve road infrastructure, ensuring safer and smoother travel for all.
